I love Mary McFadden pieces so much, they are so luxurious and the attention to details is stellar! This long jacket is a great example, the body is a burgundy silk plisse fabric. The tailored cut cinches at the waist where the zipper front closure starts to allow the bottom half giving a peplum effect. McFadden is known for her "marri" plisse fabrics, which I love, but her beaded pieces are from another world. The hand beaded crystals, stones and sequins over lace and embroidery adorn the neck down the front to the hem! There are 1000s of beads!
