When I acquired this dress, I thought it was going to be solid black, the online pictures did not catch the colors just the silhouette, which is so Blade Runner Neo -Noir. To my surprise the liquid black silk jersey is hand painted! It is so much cooler than I originally thought. Splatter gold paint covers the entire dress which compliments the gold stitching which highlights the quilted shoulders. Beene also used a black and gold Lurex ribbon at the waist and at the hem. The dress somehow has a structured vibe while it also flows beautifully due to its sweeping skirt. Fully covered but still edgy and sexy. Darted and pleated, hidden zipper closure at the back, oh and it has pockets.
