I love coming across an Alexis Kirk piece! Heavy gold plating, exotic skins and ornate Etruscan designs made Alexis Kirk pieces highly desireable. From 70s Bohemian to 80s Disco, he had it covered.
This here is a Disco Era reptile skin leather belt. In a deep olive greyish color. Skinny at 3/4" wide. Kirk was known for creating adjustable belts. Each buckle is removable so you can adjust a bit there, and it also overlaps over itself. The stunning ornate Etruscan styled buckle looks like it should be in a museum. Each link is marked with a different symbolic animal figure.
The belt itself is in good vintage condition, with some creasing due to storage, but what it needs is to be worn to reshape the leather. The buckle has minimal signs of wear.
