I somehow was able to source a Bill Tice collection just in time for the holidays and I am super excited! I have had a few versions of Bill Tice disco era dresses in the shop and they are all so dang sexy. Which is why they are always in demand. Celebrities from Lady Gaga to Rachel Zoe have been seen on the red carpet drapped in his designs.
This Bill Tice caftan gown is black velvet with Gold Lurex piping detail. The velvet is lightweight with great draping effect that moves beautifully. Signature stitch work at the shoulders which creates some volume. Dramatic sleeves, high slit and pockets. The dress is in great vintage condition, with some minor signs of wear. There had been a pin sized hole at the bust that was mended, so it is no longer an issue. The necklace and belt are not included but available for purchase.
