Iconic 1978 Halston liquid silk wrap dress. This dress is everything that Halston is known for, the only seams are under the sleeves, a huge deep purple silk panel drapes at an angle creating a corner at the back of the hem. Bat sleeves. Hook and clasp closure at the elastic waist. Hand rolled finish at the plunging neckline with a hidden weight to create a disco queen silhouette. This dress has been archived at The MET (see last photo). The waist can easily be altered. The dress is in great vintage condition, no holes, but some faint spots. I have taken many pictures and started a video at the armpit in question to show how it hides in the deep color. The price does reflect the flaws. The silk reflects a lot of light so its really hard to see the spots.
