What a beautiful rare Thierry Mugler ensemble. Purchased along other couture pieces from Tori Steel’s estate sale in Dallas! Yes, The Torie Steele of Rodeo Drive Beverly Hills. The fame shop featured in the the 80s classic " Pretty Woman “ She recently sold her vintage collection at her Dallas home. So keep your eyes peeled.
This ensemble is a luxurious wool in an organic ivory color, with quilted oversized padded shoulders, snap buttons and blue piping. The tunic is longer at the back and can be easily used alone. Side slits. It has a dramatic cola and a hood, pleated sleeves and pockets. The trousers are so cool, that I almost kept them. They have a stretchy waist band with a quilted snap closure front. Beautiful snap ankle band.
Excellent vintage condition, there’s two sets of moth holes, one in the pleats of the hood, the other in the lower back side. Both photographed.
