I cannot believe that I found this piece, actually it found me! I was contacted by the daughter of the original owner. She found me on IG, and was pleased to see that I had posted other pieces in this print. These Zandra Rhodes pieces were originally for lounging in the late 70s. Today these are rare and hard to find. The romantic yet edgy wearable art gems deserve to be worn outside to be seen! I do have the pant set version of this caftan available. This caftan is stunning, semi sheer soft pink poly satin is printed in Zandra's wiggle print, wide kimono sleeves adorned with her signature lace. Empire waist is elastic! So it can accommodate many sizes. Flows like a dream with the print and lace detail at the hemline. This stunning gown is in excellent vintage condition. This gown is great for anyone looking for a vintage Zandra Rhodes that can handle normal wear for many years to come. I love her silk chiffon pieces but they are delicate and should be handled with care. While, the poly or rayon collection are very durable and so beautiful.
