I have been after this dress for years, it is super rare and really worth the wait! John Anthony mainly made custom pieces, or just a few of each design. There is such a cool edgy 40s vibe to this design with a surrealist touch. Olive green silk jersey constructed to literally hug every curve and drape beautifully. Long slim sleeves with a billowing effect at the cuffs. The hand beaded birds are beautifully placed, one wraps the neck and the other is placed as if it is holding the dress where it wraps around the hips with a hidden high slit. The silk jersey does have some stretch to it. Unlined, hidden zipper closure.
