When I laid eyes on this Halston IV gown I was floored. This dress is so similar to the runway one that Pat Cleveland wore in the Halston 1978 Spring Collection but made for Halston IV with the exact silhouette. The dramatic curved balloon sleeves are voluminous with elastic at the wrist to create a billowy effect as seen on Pat. The beautiful lightweight plisse fabric is micro pleated and semi sheer. The dress simply wraps around with two hook closure at the elastic waist with a plunging neckline. This dress gives so much glamour with so much ease. This dress can easily be altered to fit different sizes by moving the hooks over.
