Iconic American Hollywood designer Travilla known for his work in film notably 8 of Marilyn Monroe's films. I am so happy to offer this stunning and timeless dress. I found this dress at a vintage shop here in Dallas and when I first touched the luxurious silk, I knew it was really special. The perfect hand stitching had me spinning! Then I saw the label, and there was no price tag, so I waited for a long while for the vendor to call the shop with a price and I think it was worth it. The dress is medium weight, it is completely covered in silk chiffon. Nude illusion at the shoulders and yoke with a sheer overlay. Sheer sleeves with subtle cuff finish. Lightweight sheer chiffon overlay with asymmetrical hem for dramatic movement.
Back zip & snap closure. This dress is in great vintage condition, with a tiny snag on the overlay at the back of the right shoulder and another where the dry cleaners pinned their tag. Not noticeable if you have long hair, but the price does reflect this flaw. Made in Italy.
