What an amazing and rare dress! Found at a luxurious nationally featured estate sale in Dallas, along with hundreds of couture dresses. A Marie Leavell 60s psychedellic floral print maxi dress. The whimsical, colorful print is very much like a Peter Max design on baby blue cotton. Esquesite construction, where the print lines up at the back zipper closure. Balloon sleeves, faceted glass buttons on the cuffs. Red,white and blue ribbon detail. Mock neck and pockets! Fully lined, waist strap inside. There are signs of wear and spots through out, which I pictured, but not noticeable at an arms length due to its busy print. I chose not to treat and wash this piece in fear of ruining the dress, it was dried cleaned instead. The price does reflect on these flaws. Marie Leavell was a high end boutique in Dallas.
