I love early Mary McFadden pieces, the dresses are really special no matter what era but the early ones have a special finish that you just cant find in later ones due to how long it actually takes to complete. This one is a great example, the edges of the entire dress, hem, cuffs, and bust are hand finished in a micro pleating with gold fibers. This hand pleating is also present at the asymmetrical waist The sleeves on this dress are to die for! If it fit me I would certainly keep it. This dress is in fantastic condition, nothing to note. Fits a Petite size best
