This gown is hands down one of my favorites! Rare 60s Gino Charles gown. It is so joyful, bright, shiny and just perfect. There are three layers, a soft pink rayon lining, a pink chiffon layer and topped with the most exquisite bright printed chiffon with gold metallic thread detail. The waist and hemline is adorned with a purple felt ribbon encrusted in pink rhinestones and gold beads. The dress itself is in excellent vintage condition. The top layer is in mint condition, the second chiffon layer has some wear due to the washing process. Not noticeable when worn. See pictures.

"Gino Charles was a line established in 1966 by Teal Gino Traina and Malcolm Charles Starr. The line was started to make American styles available in markets around the world. The cut of the garment was altered to fit the typical body type in each market. At the time of startup, Mr Starr supervised the sales and distribution of the new company., while Mr Traina was in charge of pattern production and the designing staff, which was led by Alan Phillips. By mid-1967, the line had moved fully under the Malcolm Starr corporate umbrella and Elinor Simmons, the head designer for Malcolm Starr was supervising."
